Karen Donaldson spent many years as a pediatric occupational therapist. Her experiences with younger children and their love for play formulated her belief that creative movement is transformational. She dreamt of sharing this discovery with as many young children as possible. Her desire to invent a game, lead her to combine the joy of movement with an exploration of the alphabet, just perfect for young children.
As a visual designer, I was intrigued with the idea of creating fun characters that can help children learn their alphabet. I am a typeface enthusiast and welcomed the challenge to create legible alphabet images that reflect the inventor's knowledge about movement.
